Once your session is booked, I’ll send you my full style guide to help you prepare. I always recommend keeping outfits simple and neutral, choosing colours and tones that work beautifully together without being too matching.
Please don’t worry! Children definitely don’t need to sit still or smile on demand for me. My family sessions are relaxed and fun, and I’ll work around your children, letting them be themselves. Often, those unplanned moments create some of my favourite photographs.
Absolutely. Family sessions can take place in my Bromley studio or outdoors on location. For larger families, an outdoor session can sometimes work particularly well, giving everyone more space to move around and allowing for lots of relaxed, natural photographs. We can chat about the look you’d like and decide which option will work best for your family.
Of course! Dogs are part of the family too and are very welcome at both studio and outdoor family photoshoots. For studio sessions, I just ask that dogs are well behaved and comfortable in an indoor environment. Please let me know beforehand so we can plan everything for your session.
Within one week of your session, you’ll receive your private online viewing gallery where you can choose your favourite images. Once you’ve made your selections, your chosen images will be fully edited and delivered to you within two weeks.
Yes. Outdoor family sessions are available on request, particularly during the spring, summer and early autumn months. They’re also a lovely option for larger or extended families, where having a little more space allows everyone to feel relaxed and gives us more freedom with the photographs. Please get in touch and we can discuss the location and type of session you’re looking for.
